Building Financial Foundations
All financial recipients are required to meet 1-on-1 with a THRIVE financial coach for one session before funding assistance is distributed. All THRIVE Financial coaches are volunteers who have taken a 20-hour Master Financial Educator Course through the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office.
The purpose of the session is to build a budget with the client, and provide helpful financial tools, based on their unique situation to aid them on their financial journey.
