Joseline Vega is the Bilingual Intake Specialist of THRIVE Peninsula. Her role is to pave a pathway for Spanish Speaking families to easily access all of THRIVE's services. In addition, she works with clients to help them obtain emergency financial assistance from the organization. Joseline was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, lived in Puerto Rico for a period, and established residence in the city of Newport News, Virginia in 2006. Joseline had completed studies in the areas of psychology and social sciences. As the daughter of a Navy Veteran, Joseline has a natural passion for service to others. She is married to Mr. Benny R. Machado who is an local entrepreneur. Together they have three beautiful and talented children, Josiah, Gabriel, and Nathan. Outside of work, Joseline loves spending quality time with her family and supporting her children in various extracurricular activities.
