Angela York is the Executive Director of THRIVE Peninsula, where she has led the organization since 2016. Under her leadership, THRIVE has grown from a $125K budget to a $2M operation serving more than 40,000 individuals annually — including opening the Peninsula’s first free grocery store, giving families access to fresh, healthy foods, and growing a volunteer community from 35 to over 300 weekly contributors.
Angela’s commitment to nonprofit work was shaped by a transformative mission trip to Cairo, Egypt, where she worked alongside refugees. She holds a Master’s Degree in Community Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations.

Outside of work, Angela is a devoted Eagles fan, a wife and mom, and an avid reader.
