Beka serves on THRIVE team as the Market Coordinator, managing both the THRIVE Mini-Market Food Distribution at SafeHaven Empowerment Center in Denbigh and she serves as the onsite staff coordinator for Saturdays at The Market at THRIVE. In this role, she manages inventory, oversees weekly food distributions, and works alongside local volunteers to serve the community effectively.

Beka first connected with THRIVE in 2021 as a volunteer, seeking a deeper sense of purpose. She quickly found fulfillment in helping to feed others through The Market—where, for her, food is a powerful expression of love. Prior to THRIVE, she gained valuable experience during her time at Whole Foods, where she held multiple roles in both the prepared foods and grocery departments—training that she now sees as providential in preparing her for her current work.

A proud advocate of THRIVE’s mission, Beka is honored to be part of THRIVE’s growth and outreach. Outside of work, she runs a bustling household of five (plus pets) and enjoys creating with her hands—always finding time to pursue her passion for making and creating.
