September 15 marks one year of the Hispanic Foods Section in The Market and the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. We’re celebrating both with Sabor Familiar.

The foods and flavors found on these shelves are ones many of us know and love, drawn from a wonderful variety of Hispanic countries, cultures, kitchens, and family traditions.

For some, they’re simply favorites. For others, they taste like home.

That’s why this section matters. Families shopping in The Market can choose foods they know how to prepare, ingredients their families enjoy, and flavors that belong on their tables.

Through Prosperar (“to thrive”), THRIVE’s Hispanic Resources program, we also walk alongside more than 50 families each week, providing food, financial assistance, coaching, and connections to resources fully in Spanish.
